What's it actually pulling?

Just picked up a 2014 Ram1500 Express crew can 4x4, with tow package 3.92 gears. When I asked what the truck tows weight wise, I was told "a whopping 10,000lbs!!!!" I didn't and still don't really believe that..... Fellas? What does she really pull?

Umm. Yeah. That's the rating with those gears. Subject to loading limits.

Keep in mind that is a properly setup rig to pull that weight as well.

If you want the highest tow #s, Express, 5.7 and 3.92 are about as good as you can do. My Sport is 10,250 depending on where you check , yours will be even higher. The crew cab and 4x4 but if you need to bet the whole family there and be able to pull out of sand or mud those are just necessities.
