I tow with no sway WDH & axle to frame air bags set up for maximum weight redistribution on CAT scales. Tune, 3.92s, & load tires.
These are new dry units just me & tools. This is often more safe & stable than the guy with a 3/4 ton who uses no WDH & "flys blind."
Truck is somewhat frequently loaded to near max axles about 7,800 combined but not over & never to RAMs 4th gen max CVWR 15,950.
2017 Airstream's new 33' Classic. This one was 8,561 dry. And a 2017 Forrest River's Wildcat Maxx 33.1' with 3 slides & 9,086 dry. Neither had any sway or other issues. I took the FR 965 miles over passes up grades including the grape vine & through some moderate winds in the high desert. Truck is about to turn 300,000 miles.
I'm not recommending these size TTs for camping with even a scale set 1500 just showing the capability of the truck with WDH & bags set up at the scales.
