haven't officially towed it with the Laramie yet- as you can see it was tied to the back of the Ford in this pic, now it's napping for winter, but this is the biggest thing I will pull. The HMCS Anchovy. 30' from bumper to ball, 5900 at it's heaviest. Ford pulled it fine except it ran out of breath on the hills but it kept her straight as an arrow, so the Ram has some pretty big shoes to fill
According to pickuptrucks.com shootout and TFLT Ike Gauntlet tests The Ram should be fairly comparable to the EB towing at that weight. Have to let us know when you pull the "Anchovy" again.
I thought you had an EB in that Ford?
Hey fellers, new to the site, but Dodge is all I've ever owned. Quick question, where in the forums can I find out about mods people are doing to their 3.7L SOHC. Looking to just build my V6 instead of dropping a V8 in it. Any help will be greatly appreciated, having a little trouble finding the right thread.
Your rims look killer on that truck! Nice job! Are they powder coated or plasti dipped?

This is the most I've pulled so far. 36' TT. 7100 lbs dry and six people inside.View attachment 20007
http://www.ramtrucks.com/en/towing_guide/pdf/RAM.1500.Towing.Specs.pdf This chart will help you decide. Depends on what engine and gears you have. Mine has a max trailer of 10050. I have no problem towing it and watch my temps. I've driven it from Philadephia to Cooperstown NY. About 250 miles. I had no problem at all towing it. That the furthest so far. That is my third trip with it.
