Who installed a factory brake controller?

Did you remove the whole bezel like the directions say or just pop the old dash plate out through the front. And push the controller in through the front?

Did you have to remove te kick panel by your knees to install module?

I removed the dash because I was installing the backup camera at the same time. I didn't remove the kick panel but it is a tight fit to install the module in the spot that they say to mount it.

I removed both, the whole bezel and the kick plate. And, because I have the center console I had to remove a few pieces on that, in order to get the whole bezel out. As stated above, mounting the module was a pain in my butt. I was only able to get 2 out of the 3 screws installed on the mounting bracket, but it is solid as a rock.

all i did so far was removed the blank plate from the bezel.. i used a small plastic flat head and pryed it out..

may i will bull the whole bezel off to put the controller in.
