I recently got a great deal on an older (1975-78) 8 foot camper and have payload concerns.
When I hauled the camper home I didn't notice any unusual swaying or groaning from the rear, and the leafs, while not completely compressed, were nearly at load I believe.
I don't know the weight of the camper, but the guy I purchased it from had it on a stock 98 F150.
Surely my Ram can handle this thing?
I have 1500lb helper coil springs I want to install as well..
I attached a photo of the camper and my truck. Unfortunately I have none with it loaded.
Thoughts?
Thank you a lot for your replies. This camper is my entire summer waiting to happen.
