I have an 07 hemi 2wd with stock 3.92 and 20s. I have seen my top end on towing to be 7600 for the trailer. I want to get a trailer that is 6400 dry and beef up the truck a bit to be on the safer side. Thought about going with 4.56 gears. Also considered springs or HD brakes. Anyone made these mods without a shop?
If I go with the upgrades gear, I saw Moes has the 4.56 for about $200. Would I also need the master install kit?
Don't know much about changing springs at all so would need advice.
If I upgrade brakes should I do front and rear?
I have a superchips programmer and prodigy p2 controller.
