I got a 01 ram 1500 5.2L 4x4. And its setting on 35s and leveling kit, and the factory gears are 3.55s . The gears pull them just fine. But I want to take some stress off the transmission. And I was wanting to know which would be better 3.92 or 4.10s. I pull a horse trailer every now and then. But usually its jist a daily driver back and forth to work and stuff. So dont really want to go with really low gears four loss of mpg. But thanks for any help.

My truck is the quad cab. And its the ram sport model. Woth the two in leveling kit I jist had to cut a little bit of my front fender. To clear them better I would go with a 3in lift so you have less fender cutting.

What is your OD ratio? With the 545RFE trans with the 1.67 OD I would recommend 4:56, but if you r OD ratio is not as high then the 4:10 would do well. Good luck.

You have the 5.2, you tow, you have 35's, you might go bigger in lift= 4.56 ratio.
