We have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 automatic 360 V8. The scan tool gave my husband two codes. We would greatly appreciate any help deciphering them.

First code is PO138 and says 02 Sensor circuit high voltage (Bank no. 1 sensor sensor no. 2)

Second code is P1391 and says Intermittent loss of CMP or CKP signal.

Thank you for your time.

The 1391 code is the camshaft sensor. I have seen a lot of posts on another site about having to change out the distibutor to get the code to go away. I'm guessing the cam sensor is in the distributor. If the cam sensor and/or distributor are replaced and still have code cone back, it could also be the crankshaft position sensor. The oxygen sensor should be after the catalytic convertor since it says sensor 2. Hope this helps you some.
