So I'll be buying my first CTD here in the very very near future. I'm still in the process of learning as much as possible since I'm new to the game. Someone please explain an EGR delete for a 2004.5 for me. I need someone to break it down Barney style for me because I've done a bunch I research and some people say there is no EGR, some say that they are in-cylinder and I need to put an aftermarket cam in, some say I just need to get the EGR delete kit.

Thanks for the info
Kyle

You shouldn't have one. I think they only started with the 6.7L

I have heard its in cylinder as well and is done with timing
It's not a problem on 5.9s like 6.7, it might keep your oil cleaner but that's about it

Nope, the 6.7s egr is routed right into the intake manifold
I deleted my girlfriends dads '09 at 40k miles and it was probably the grossest thing I've ever pulled from a motor
