What programmer to buy.

I have a 2011 dodge with 6.7, I would like to get a programmer to gain a little horsepower, but mostly more fuel economy. At this point I dont want to take all the emmision crap off, so the programmer will need to work for now with the dpf filter, and after my warranty expires I will take all the emmision stuff off. Can anybody advise me what programmer to buy.. H&S, Smarty, Edge etc.

If you can find an H&S it would definitly be the route I would go!
They have DPF-present tubes as well as deleted tunes but getting ahold of one may be tough
Next to EFI H&S is the best on the market (maybe not on the market at this point though)
I really like the mini maxx as it gives you the tune on the fly option with a digital gauges and is still compact
I'm not sure if smarty is still selling their tuners without te DPF delete tune or not

H&S ... Get one while you can. You can run them with or without deletes and IMO is the best.
Give DB Truck Customs a pm. They are a vendor that has great prices on them and other programmers.

All H&S tuners have been discontinued, so your best bet is to start searching for a used one.

There are still a few vendors out on our forum that still have some stock in the H&S. Like said get one while ya can.

If they would have offered it for my Cummims hands down yes. I have been around the H&S since they came out. Tested them in fords and dodges. Very good unit plus gauges all in one.

There is great info on the unit also in the CTD section. You will see allot of good reviews.

Like they all said..H&S Mini Maxx hands down.
Make sure you download the tunes they have available, while they are still available.

Like everyone said, go with H&S. THe only choice is between their XRT Pro and their Mini Maxx. The Mini Maxx just has more features, but your decision will probably be dictated by which one you can find!
