borla muffler

im looking to add a borla muffler to my '11 ram.
it has the factory dual exhaust already. but just want to pick up the correct borla muffler to install.
looking at your website, i wanted to see if this was the correct one:

Borla 4x9.5 Single 3" In/Dual 2.5" Out 19" Stainless Muffler

thanks for any info you can add to point me in the right direction.

Sorry about the late reply. I dont know how I missed this thread yesterday. The muffler you linked to is the correct one you would need. It is shorter than stock, so the shop is going to have to add a little extra pipe as they would with any muffler, but the inlet and outlet dimensions are correct.

how is the sound of this muffler compared to a flowmaster 44?

In all honesty, I havent worked with many of the Borla kits. When you look at hp per $$, I just have a hard time straying away from Magnaflow. The Magnaflow mufflers are half the price of Borla, they are a much better quality than Flowmaster, and their straight through design is what you want for the best performance. That's tough to compete with.

ive just always liked borla since i bought a cobra years ago that had borla mufflers on it.
never been a fan of flowmasters.
and never had an opinion on magnaflows.
