I know they are custom built for each truck so I'm not rushing. Just curious on the build time for each verter. I ordered one from you on Monday and am curious to how long I have to get the fluids and other things I may need. Also what else should I get besides the fluids? Thanks in advance

Build time is 5 business days on converters. Because the order came in late Monday, I am expecting it to ship on Tuesday.

Fluids is really all you need. You may also swap the filters out if they have not been replaced recently.

No problem. You are going to have some fun at the track this fall. The converter is going to bring the truck to life.

I'm hoping with the headers and stall I can get a mid 14. Ran 15.25@87 last time. That was before the headers.

Its very doable. With your mods, I don't think low 14's are out of the question with some decent air.

That would be even better. May have to set up a gtg at Baytown when it cools off.

Don't want to jack the thread but I was reading your Sig ATXHEMI and noticed you are running an SRT8 IAT sensor. What is the difference in that and a stock IAT sensor? Im going to assume there is a different resistance value maybe. If that's the case do you know the resistance value, maybe I will try one out if you noticed a difference or just simply change the resistor on my power wire.

The srt8 iat sensor is longer than the truck sensor. Picks up the temp from the middle of the intake tube rather than right by the side. Maybe pick ip less heat soak temp. Maybe not but for 4 bucks what could it hurt.

When I did mine the other month I went ahead and did the trans filters and a bigger cooler for ease of mind. There were not 100% needed, but happened to be doing the other stuff and knocked it all out at once. I wanted to take a peek at the pan since I havenet dropped it in over 2 years.

I appreciate it. I did some research earlier and found the part number on a challenger forum. Ordered it from the dealer for $5 and should have it ties. Thanks again man.

I see what you mean about the older iat sensor getting heat soaked, I noticed during research there is a lot of talk and charts showing the improvements. It doesn't hurt to try for 5 bucks.
