Getting tuner...help a brother out

Completely new to tuning. I barely know anything about it but after reading some of the threads I want to tune my truck for the performance gains and MPG gains. I'll be lifting my truck with either a 4" or 6" in the next few months and I got 35" tires and 3.92 gears.

What's a pretty basic tuner and what is the first step once I buy it from Moe's (you)? From reading I found the Diablo i2 with Hemifever Custom Tune for $469 is the way to go. Would really appreciate some help!!

in your description you have a 2016 and it requires a unlocked pcm its close to 1000 dollars to start tuning

So then it seems like a better option to wait until the prices have settled, if they do..?

We now have the PCM swap option which allows you to send your stock PCM back in as well. This is only $599 for the i2 with new unlocked PCM, so pricing is more reasonable than having to spend $1000 as mentioned before.

And the i2 with custom tuning is going to be a great improvement for you in power, driveability, and a slight increase in mileage as well. I run the exact same setup on my 2015 and am very happy with the results.

Matt & Sean will get you hooked up. You will really feel the difference, it will really push those 35's once you get the tune dialed in

No worries,

It takes longer to find your socket wrench than to do the actual install

You will get thorough instructions how to operate the unit and create a log to send to Sean

Once he has that he can get you dialed in

, you can also set it for your tires so you speedometer will read right
