Intake ?

The part # on your site for a 2014 Ram 1500 5.7 is #75-5066, S&B site shows a part #75-5078. What is the difference? what will you ship?
I am trying to place an order for the intake and an I2 tuner.
Help!

The 75-5066 fits all 2013+ trucks, but we do have a few 75-5078 kits in stock as well. Just put 2015 ram in your order notes, and we will ship the 75-5078 kit for you.

S&B made a change to the bottom of the 75-5066 air box to clear the shock tower on the 2014+ 2500 trucks. Both the 75-5066 and 75-5078 fit perfect on all 2013+ 1500 trucks though. That is why we only have the 75-5066 listed. It just seemed pointless to stock 2 extra part #s when the 75-5066 fit perfect. We will ship whichever kit you prefer though.

I'm actually running the 75-5066 kit on my own 2015 ram 1500.

All's good as long as they both fit. I'll place the order in the morning. Any preference dry or oil filter? I have always had oiled on the last 3 rides., Lightning, Trailblazer SS and Roush F150 Nitemare. Thanks for the help.

That's just personal preference. The dry filter is less maintenance, but more expensive when it comes time to replace the filter. I went with the oiled.

S&B does not allow dealers to discount their intakes, but the i2 is currently marked down to only $469 with the included Hemifever custom tune.
