Haha, that is awesome. Hopefully that will get you out any tickets with the cops.

I'm pretty sure being a cop will help too. LOL

She's always so excited to see my Sheriff's Department vehicle, that I figured, she'd like one of her own. LOL

I have adam's microfiber towels. The one she was using was purposely selected. Lol.

Looks awesome! Our officers use Tahoes here. I think I'd rather have the Explorer with the EB V6 personally. ;) Though yours looks lifted in the rear. I thought they sat lower.

You sealed then waxed right?

The order is:

Wash, clay, polish, seal, glaze, wax. (you can leave the glaze and wax out if you'd like)

Mine is just a plain V6 AWD with police package. NO EB, but then again, it's hard to outrun a radio, and if you can drive well enough, speed isn't always better.

No, I screwed that up! I sealed last. I don't have any glaze either, but it wasn't until I was 3/4 finished the I remembered I should have waxed last!

Would it be bad to wax over the seal even though I applied the wax before the seal?

The sealant will not last long... Think of wax as nothing more than a coating sitting on top of paint whereas sealant bonds with the paint. Also, a product like Adams Quick Sealant has enough solvents in it that it may eat right into the wax and degrade it when applying it. This is why we put sealant down, then brilliant glaze and then wax. The glaze has a lot of solvents in it and it'll degrade wax when applying it, but applying it first and then waxing over it, locks it in between the two layers.

When you put sealant OVER wax, it doesn't have anything to hang onto so it just wears away with the wax. I wouldn't bother topping the sealant with wax. Just wait a few weeks and then re-apply your wax of choice.

If you're in a high heat area, just stick with sealant! Adams Quick Sealant LASTS AND LASTS!!! Longer than anything that easy to apply should. 6 months plus is what I've seen!
