So I rebuilt my carburetor, and since it's a 1984 D100 3.7 /6 its got the electronic fuel control, and controls the idle with a solenoid. Which I had to unhook. In a rush to get my truck going, I hooked the wrong connector to the solenoid, and my truck proceeded to smoke horribly from the hood. Now nothing happens when I turn my key. No fuel gauge movement, no red warning light, nothing. All fuses are good, fusible links fine. Anybody have any information or diagrams for the wiring or connectors around the carburetor?
