i wouldn't want to chance damaging the engine over it. i think the engine is in perfect shape other than a few sloppy bearings in the engine. the engine has always had great compression every time i checked with little to no change when doing a wet test.

****, I want those numbers.

I'll be doing a compression test again soon, I have a feeling my tester was leaking down.

Well, I'm happy. :D

First is regular exposure

One second exposure, this is more of what you'd actually see sitting in the seat

Other gauges at one second

8 mpg on this last tank. That's with highway driving, as well as work driving...aka having to warm that ***** up in the morning. Plus while I was with my girlfriend we did some running around town, so that's not bad. $33.93

So this is where I'm at on my lights.

After having to tear them apart and RTV EVERYTHING, I put them back together and started looking at mounting locations.

Knowing there were holes pre-drilled in the core supported, I had been thinking about mounting a bar behind the grille and mounting them there. When I got to thinking about it I decided with the nature of the grille design, it would be a ***** of a pain to work with. I also decided that the lights would end up getting blocked out by at least one grille slat.

So I'm thinking one of two ways: somehow mounted to the top of the bumper or making a bracket that bolts to the core support and comes out of the grille there each light can mount.

Now, for the bumper mounted option, I am NOT, and WILL NOT, drill into my bumper as it's MINT 76 factory. I'm thinking some sort of deal that will clamp onto it, but I don't know what as I haven't gone to the hardware store yet.

Now, here are holes in the core support:

There are three holes, on each side of the support, all the same size, all evenly spaced. So I figure I might be able to use them to my advantage.

You can see the three holes here:

So what do you think? Bumper or grille?!

Hmmmm how are the bottom ones mounted? They on the bumper or behind the valence? It's kinda hard to tell.
