The picture doesn't really do it justice but I just wanted to show you how bright my gauges are now, compared to the old dingy green lights before. My camera makes it look like the plastic cover is very dirty...

However when I had the dashboard apart, there were a few plugs that weren't connected to anything. I couldn't find any places to even try and plug them into. Can anyone identify what these plugs are for? Can't be that important since they've probably never been connected during the five years I've owned it.

I also just installed LEDs in my reverse lights, tail and brake and rear signal lights. I will post pictures tonight. I find it strange that I didn't have to add a resistor in though.... they don't hyperflash or anything. How could this be?

i got white led's with the stock filter on both my trucks and i like the cool blue color they put out.

as far as the rear tail lights go they are dummies. they don't care what lights you put in them especially if you an electronic flasher. now if you try putting them in the front you will start having issues.

i am kind of surprised you are keeping the led's in the tail lights. i have tried led's back there and swapped back to normal bulbs because the led's just plain sucked even with brand new tail light housings.

The first set of LEDs I got for my tail lights were really dull, it was just cause they were some generic brand made in China. So I decided to go with some Canadian made bulbs, I forget the brand at the moment, and they are easily twice as bright as the first set of LEDs. I like the no fade in - fade out effect that LEDs have

i haven't tried any lately but when i was trying them out at about $20/bulb i was ending up pretty unimpressed with them. they just didn't work very good with the tail light housings on these trucks. they got to be just as bright as stock or better or i won't use them
