Now has a correct front bumper and lifted the front 2 more inches with new shackles...I swear the previous owner was a total idiot....he had one of the leaf Springs tack welded to the frame.

looks good John.

been busy here with my 89 ramcharger. replaced the wiper motor, washer fluid pump and the main fuel line from the filter to the throttle body. adjusted the kickdown and got the tranmission shifting better but still not 100% right. pretty sure it needs a front transmission band. pulled the door lock actuators so i could lock the doors and inspected passenger side window motor. no idea why it is not working but it looks to be in good shape. it won't even move when hotwired. also cleaned out under the hood. looking a bit better but still have some crap to remove.

ya. bought it 2 weeks ago tuesday. it has a pretty decent body but so many issues. the biggest issue is currently the transmission having no 2nd gear and the engine oil light coming on once it is warm and it is idling at a red light. i am hoping a oil change will fix the oil pressure light but not going to hold my breath. the no 2nd gear is from the front band being toast from what i have read on the interweb. currently got the kickdown setup pretty good to shift from 1st to 3rd but still could really use 2nd

Nice, another one to add to you collection lol. I'm sure you'll have it fixed up in no time. 2WD or 4WD?

hahaha. i plan to keep on wrenching but i don't plan on driving it in the winter unless i absolutely have to. it is going to be my summer driver. i plan on cleaning it up and giving it a nice paint job eventually. got to spend all the hard earned money on something. it was either spend money on the ramcharger or try saving for a house. since the housing market is crazy here i went with the RC. i will save up for a house sooner or later

Hahaha. 4WD in the summer and 2WD in the winter, sounds like a plan. Great project, have fun fixing it up.

Changed the transfer case fluid. It was making a loud clank when shifting into reverse, sounds much better now.

you want to change the fluid in mine also? it is on the list of things to do eventually.

i mounted a spare tire in the driveway for the ramcharger yesterday. really want to make or buy a manual tire changer with how often i have been changing them
