What Did You Do To Your RAM Today?

i stripped more parts off my 91 yesterday. turned it around and stripped even more parts the drums still look brand new after sitting for 5 years. i was going to leave the wheel cylinders until after my dad got me to look at them. still look good. just a bit of surface rust on the top half of them. they will never go back on one of my trucks but my dad said he wanted them for his truck for when we do his brake job.

i checked the fuel pressure on my ramcharger today and things don't seem to be looking very good. i think this new fuel pump is failing already.

i changed carbs on my 81 and hooked up the electric fan controller. truck seems to idle great but just don't seem to run quite right when driving. i think i also figured out why i was having issues with the other carb. the base gasket seemed to be soaked in gas.

i stripped a couple parts off my 91 and then let it go on its way. got $260 for what was left of it which i thought was great considering how little was left. if i could have kept more i would have but i just don't have the space.

changed the wiper blades on my ramcharger. the new ones seems to work fairly good. i also changed the wiper blade on my moms car. she seems happy with them compared to the old ones that were there.

i changed the fuel pump in my ramcharger again. things seem to be running good once again. i also added a ground wire to the passenger side tail light because i have been having issues with it not working all the time. installed a new air cleaner gasket. the old one was all broken and in pieces.

fired up my 81 and moved it back to its parking spot where my mom can block it in. i changed the pins and bushings on the drivers side door on my ramcharger. top hinge didn't seem too loose but the bottom one seem a bit loose. i took the door off and the pin just went flying out of the bottom hinge when i tapped it with the hammer but the bushings don't look that warn. i also discovered a crack in the metal on the door behind the bottom hinge. going to have to wait till summer to weld and patch it up. installed new pins and bushings and adjusted the bottom hinge and the door now closes perfectly. i also put 1 more bolt in the bench seat and wobble is gone. while i was doing this my sister worked on cleaning out and organizing the back. there is a lot more room back there now.

Also couple questions...i realize its a 4x2 but i am interested in a modest lift. If i did a leveling kit with a 3in body would that be enough for 33s? Also, how high would that be any pictures or information that anyone has would be helpful. thank you

That looks pretty good. And you should be able to fit 33s with a level or 2 in lift and a body lift.

with 2" suspension lift and 3" body lift you should no problem running 33's. they actually look pretty good. just need a good locker and you should be good to offroad

Yeah thats what i am thinking, I just want more clearance. I found a 3in body lift from performance accessories, but where do I go for the suspension lift? Would a 2nd Gen ram lift work?
