I've got a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Megacab 4x4 with 7" lift up front and 5" in the rear. I'm about to push the front to 9" and the rear to 6" and am wondering if I need to extend the brakes lines at all. Let me know what your experiences are.

Thanks

It's a very good idea to get longer aftermarket lines going that high if the lift kit doesn't come with them. Most kits will come with either longer lines or a bracket to relocate the factory line but at 9" you should have new lines. I would recommend upgrading to stainless braided lines if you still have the factory hoses just for the better braking they will give you and I use KLM Performance lines and they can be ordered in lengths besed on how much lift you have.

Thanks for the reply. Just the thing I needed. klm has exactly what I need, doesn't get any easier than having the option for the exact lift height!
