Hello All, I have an 83 d150 was wanting to upgrade to a new set of rims. I have a chance to get my hands on 2003 chrome clads for real cheap. Will these fit my truck without having to use spacers or adapters. 2003 chrome clads are 20's off 2003 dodge ram 1500. I've looked a lot of different places and seem to get conflicting stories. My bolt pattern is 5 on 5.5. Thanks in advance.

I am pretty sure those will fit, you could always measure to confirm it though! From what I read, the 2003 Dodge has a 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern as well.

i am pretty sure even if you do have 5x5.5 bolt patter which i don't think is stock on a 83 i am pretty sure you would need to use spacers because of the lack of backspacing on the newer rims.

Thanks gentleman. I guess my big worry is hub size. Thought I saw where someone had to have rim machined to fit

the stock hubs on these trucks are huge compared to the ones on the newer truck. i know i have had a had time finding rims that would fit over the hubs on my truck. my rims will fit on my dads truck but his wont clear the hubs on my truck. since you would have to use spacers on the hubs to use newer rims i don't think the size of the hubs would make much of a difference.
