Does anyone know what the biggest size tires you can put on a stock height 86 d100 is? The tires that are in it now make it look like a fat kid with chicken legs

I'm riding on 33/12.50 on 17" rims with a stock height w250, I'm sure you can fit alil smaller than that, Mine rubs when taking sharp right turns though

hahahaha you would never get 33's on a d100 unless you install a body lift on top of a suspension lift. you might be lucky to squeeze 31's under the front if you got new coils that lift the front to stock height. might be able to put 30's on the front with saggy stock front coils. the back you could run 31's easily but having 2 different size tires can sometime look strange.

265 series is around 30 1/4", IIRC. Will definitely fit, give it a better stance (your factory size was probably a 235/75/15 - mine was), without doing any :superhack: work, or overstressing your ball joints, suspension, or driveline angles.

And what - precisely - is the ACCEPTABLE amount of, tire "rubbing?" :hmm:

I would run 32's with an un-LIFTED Gen.1. I wouldn't LOWER one for any reason, and I surely wouldn't go 33's on one that has been lowered. That's a disaster waiting to happen.

The only rubbing I have is when I hit a bump it rubs on the front part of the fender which I solved with a angle grinder
