Will these tires fit?

Recently I bought a 88 d100 2 door short bed and the tires are shot I got 5 goodyear wranglers 255/75/r17 for free and was wondering is it worth buying 15 inch tires or 17 inch rims for 300$ the question is will they fit with a 17 inch rim I was going to lower the truck but if these fit I'm going to raise the front let me know!

you could probably get 17" rims that fit the truck but it might be more expensive than $300. most of the larger rims that are used on the newer trucks have no back spacing which will not work on these older trucks without spacers and even then spacers put more stress on things.
