A few pics. First off the dash after everything came out. DIRTY!
I got the cluster apart which was REALLY easy since I am used to wokring on electronics and mechanical things....
I cleaned it all up put it back together after upgrading all the lamps to 194 LED High brightness light blue white lamps....
Only to find out the stock lamp holders do NOT allow the LED to work. However, the lamp holders that service the information control center DO work. Sooo, I ordered 20 new ones of the right type. Basically the ones in the cluster do not have the correct contacts in the places necessary for them to work with the LED lamps, but will work with the incan lamps.
I also removed the Windshelid wiper control module....
It was easy to remove with the dash out, and easy to take apart and clean the contacts. Hopefully it will now work and continue to work.
More to come. If ya'll are interested.
