hey whats up guys i have a 1996 dodge ram with a 5.9l. i was in an accident and the whole front end is gone. now the engine and transmission are nearly perfect. I was wondering what other trucks i could drop this engine and tranny in. also i was looking into a 1979 dodge d100, would my engine and tranny fit in that truck? let me know, thanks

the engine would fit but i am not sure about the transmission. you may have to modify things. if both trucks are 2wd things should be fairly straight forward but you will most likely have to be very good with wiring to mate the old to new

It will fit I've done this swap a dozen times now it doesn't matter 4wd or 2wd
