I replaced the intake manifold gasket and it started and drove great but it idled high, so I adjusted the idle and it was PERFECT. Then one day I started it and it reved up like crazy, I dont have a tach so I dont know how high, but it was nuts. I try starting it and tapping the pedal but it doesnt help. Its throttle body.

if you did not adjust it properly like the procedure i posted above then you most likely threw it off. the TBI system can be a bit picky.

I love stuff like this we have a 199X Ramcharger on the farm as a plow truck and it needs some work like this maybe. Ours has issues starting but I can't figure out why I have pretty much given up on it. Would this adjustment cause issues on startup or is that something else altogether. I know it is fuel injected but this thing is in very rough shape maybe I could get a video.

Its funny cause in the morning when it is cold it acts like it has a huge cam in it and lobes sometimes, but after you drive it for a while and it warms up it goes away, could the actuator being adjusted wrong cause that?
