I'm debating on buying a 90 w150 and it needs a crank. I was wondering what I would need to swap its v6 to a 318. Would the v6 transmission and transfer case work, if anything could I at least use the transfer case or does that have to change also. And funds are tight so how hard would the crank be to replace on my own if I choose to?

the v8 "should" bolt up to the v6 transmission. all you should theoretically need is the engine, mounts, wiring and ecu
