It's problem after problem with my d150 318. I got the accelerator pump hooked up which is the reason it didn't start before unless I dropped gas straight into the carb. But now, after running good for about a week, we had a winter storm and now the engine will turn over, catch (almost start) ,but doesn't start unless I pour gas down the carb again. The accelerator pump is connected, I checked. I cleared snow out of everything that I could, there wasn't even much in the engine bay. So I don't know if it has anything to do with moisture getting somewhere it shouldn't but I don't know. Once I do pour gas into the carb, it starts up fine each time. I just don't understand why it's catching and almost starting, but failing to actually fire up, then solving that problem with pouring gas into it.
