So I was wondering what peoples opinions were about putting either open headers, cat back exhaust system, or just running dual straight pipes on my 93 d150 318 engine

It depends on what emissions you have on it.
Regardless, a cat back will definitely be available, however, not a kit for your truck. That would have to be pieced together.

You can't run open headers due to the pre-cat O2 sensor needing exhaust to sniff for the PCM. If you don't have much in the way of emissions crap though you can run headers and true duals, just make sure you use an X-pipe for the O2 sensor.

if you got the same y pipe setup that i have on my 93 i would say go for a cat back system. i think the stock y pipe on my 93 should be a pretty good exhaust with its 3" output.
