Idle problems: vehicle dies when left to idle

I've got an 88 d100 with the 5.2 liter v8, only had a few months. I just got it running, and it doesn't idle almost at all. When left to idle, it dies after only a few seconds. I know for sure it needs an oil change, but I've never had that effect a vehicles idle. I'll try to upload a video of it when I get off work today.
To keep it running, you have to keep on the throttle just a little bit all the time.

I would be willing to bet it's idle air control valve is acting up.

Yup. Controls the idle.

Located somewhere on the throttle body....I don't know where as I don't have a TBI truck.

If its throttle body, it'll be on the right side. ( isc actuator in the pic )
