My '89 D100 has a 318 with 85K miles. It runs fine but seems to run rich all the time. When started cold I expect the rich fumes from the exhaust and it does get better when warm but with the overdrive transmission it only get about 10 mpg. The exhaust pipe is always black. No codes or check engine light. This is a great old truck in excellent shape but it's killing me on gas. Any suggestions from old Mopar mechanics here? Not too many people remember the old throttle body systems around here. It has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor and both injectors replaced. All help appreciated!
