Cracked rotor cap? Welcome to the forum bud. Is there no spark at all?

Def Sounds like a Dizzy issue. Maybe when you turned it it cracked or messed up the rotor button?? I would sand the points and check for corrosion.

Use a Compression Guage to watch/get the #1 Cylinder to TDC, then the rotor on thr distr should be in line with # 1 wire, but if you had it running then it should be good.

Start with the Distr at one side and try to start. Then move it a little bit at a time till it does start then get the timing light on there. Make sure the adv vacuum is unplugged (if you don't have that there should be a timing shunt to pull out). adjust the timing to spec and shut down/tighten up the distr. Re-check. It helps to clean your timing mark on the timing chain cover and wet it with WD to see very well and putting some white-out on the damper timing mark helps as well. This is from memory as i sold all my later years Mopar books when I sold my 87 Fifth Avenue 4 years ago and can't remember if it was 81 or 82 where the electronic ignition set-up changed but do remember the older versions where much better and many folks like myself retrofitted back to the earlier version.
