Code 35 is triggered when the radiator fan relay circuit is open or shorted (operationally, when the ECU doesn’t sense near 0vdc or 12vdc at the relay when the relay is turned on or off). Code 35 does not light the power-limited light or cause limp mode.

Poor wiring or connection - Check the wiring and connections from the logic module to the relay. Clean and re-grease the connectors with dielectric grease.

Defective relay - Remove the relay and apply 12V across the coil terminals. This should be the white wire and either of the other two wires on the small connector. When 12vdc is applied you should hear a click for either of the two terminals and the connection between the grey wire and the other two terminals of the large connector should be closed. This should then pass voltage to the fan.
