with ratcheting wrenches lol. in all seriousness if you do have ratcheting wrenches it will likely make the job easier. you have to remove the cowl to disconnected the motor from the linkage and then just remove the 3 bolts that hold the motor to the body. are you having issues with it. only reason i ask is dodges are known for poor ground connections to the wiper motors

it is pretty hard to mess up hooking up a ground to it. if you saw a puff of smoke something likely went bad inside. there is only the 1 nut and 3 bolts that hold the motor to the body. it can be a time consuming job especially without the ratcheting wrenches but not too bad.

Ok that came off pretty easy. Thanks, but I can not get wiper arms off

if you got the newer ones you have to lift them up and pull the lever out and then pull them off. i sometimes use wrenches to pry them off but it can sometime scratch the paint. if you have the older style you have to pry the arm off while holding the lever under it with a screwdriver.

lol glad you got them off. i am guessing you had the newer ones because the old ones are a real pain to remove. i swapped to the newer style on my 81 for that reason plus how the wipers attaches is nicer on them
