So I finally got my 4.5" spindle lift installed on my truck with the 2" rear block. I need to replace the front shocks which may help it be softer ( original shocks at 123k miles lol). The stance is great I love it a lot! Fit my 35x12.50x20 cooper st maxxx tires perfectly.

I do have a question though. There were obviously a couple spots on the spindle that wasn't painted, top where control arm sits, and bottom ball joints. Of course as soon as I got it on it has rained nonstop, so these spots already have some surface rust on them, and I don't like that. What do you recommend me do to these spots? I understand sand and paint but what grit sandpaper and what paint would you recommend??

Glad you like the kit I bet your truck looks pretty sweet! In regards to painting the rusted spots... I would not use sand paper. I would use a scotch brite pad or disc. It doesn't matter the grit of the scotch brite pad or disc, just scuff it until the surface is clean then spray on the paint. These surfaces are raw because they are surfaces that have been machined after the spindle was E-coated. I hope this info helps and please let me know if you have any other questions.

PS... if you have any pics of your truck after installing the lift kit we would love to check them out. Thanks a lot and have a good one! -- Sean
