Here's my 14' Laramie 4x4 with the Maxtrac 2.5" level and I got 35x12.5 on the stock wheels with no rubbing at all and no spacers! Level rides great and I am very happy with it! Sits 39.5" up front and 40" in the rear

StormTrooper your truck looks sick, think I am definitely going with the same kit just based on your pics.. now that you have had the kit on have you checked the ball joints, I know maxtrac says its fixed the issue, but I like real life tested non biased check..

Will we need to change the upper control arm for the ball joint coming out or everything should be good with the 2" coil spacer for 2 wd 2014

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry I missed this one brother! no you will be fine using our 2" coil spacers or our 2.5" lift coils with your factory upper control arms. The upper ball joint issue that people are experiencing is on the 2013+ Ram 1500 trucks. The 2wd trucks have a completely different front end and a different upper arm/ball joint. I apologize for the delayed response!! Thank you!!

Do you have any pics?

Hey bud, how's it going? There are a few trucks on this thread with our new 2.5" leveling kit on. I will see if I can dig up any pics from the vault but I believe that there are a few guys in the 4th gen section that are running our leveling kit. Maybe someone on here can chime in with a pic of their 2013+ Ram 1500 4wd running our new 2.5" leveling kit?

Look back 1 page that's my truck, I took mine off road the other day and it performed well, had no issues with funny noises or anything. Still barely over 2k miles on mine but so far I love it and always get compliments on my truck and how I fit 35's with just the level and stock wheels with no trimming or spacers and it doesn't rub at all!

Your pics didn't load for some reason yesterday, but I got them tonight. Your truck looks good, thanks. Keep us posted on the performance of this product. This looks like it will be my next mod, later this summer.

This looks like a great mod to do when I'm ready for front shocks. 20K miles now, so won't be long.......It may all work out as I should be ready for tires around the same time. Get it all done at once.

So I just skimmed this thread. I have a 13 CC 4x4, and I was wondering if I get the kit and just put the strut spacer in and leave the spring spacer out, I would theoretically have 1.5" of lift right?

We offer a 2" coil spacer for the 2002-2014 Ram 1500 2wd. Part# 1906. It is an aluminum coil spacer that goes underneath the coils at the lower control arm. Very affordable kit here is a link to it if you would like to check it out 1989-2014 2" ALUMINUM Front COIL SPACERS we also offer a 4.5" lift spindle for the 2wd half tons as well. Thanks!

What's the max tire size on this coil spacer? Any vibration issues or upper control are problems as with other kits?

Anyone here on the forum used this? Would love some real world feedback.

Hi wow I am so sorry I have no idea how I missed this I am not getting all of my notifications for some reason. Anyways yes you are correct you can just install the top strut spacer giving you 1.5" of lift if you prefer. Sorry for the delayed response I wish I had seen this sooner. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you! -- Sean

Hi how's it going? Max tire size that we recommend with our 2" coil spacers on the Ram 1500 2WD trucks is 33". I have seen a few guys run that same spacer and use 35" tires on stock wheels but I have no idea how much trimming went into doing that. No vibration issues that I know of? I have only heard of vibration issues from a leveling kit on 4wd trucks or AWD due to the front driveshaft angle change but not on 2wd (as far as I'm aware of). The upper ball joint issue only pertains to the 2013-2015 Ram 1500 4WD trucks. It does not affect the 1500 2wd or any of the 3/4 or 1 ton models, 2wd or 4wd. Just the 2013+ Ram 1500 4wd. We don't know why but it had to be an upper ball joint manufacturer switch or something along those lines. Anyways yes hopefully some members here can chime in that are running our 1906 and can give you some real feedback, good or bad please feel free. Thank you and let me know if you have any other questions, I'm more than happy to help. Have a good one --- Sean

Why 33 recommended? That is the stock tire size on my 2014 Ram. Wouldn't two inch spacer at least allow a step up to a 34? That's what I'm looking to run.

Another good question... It's becuase we don't know if people are going to try and run an aftermarket wheel which could be wider with a much lower backspacing and if we say it clears a larger tire (34"-35") and then it does not, we will be held accountable. We have to play it safe in regards to tire sizes as most guys tend to lift or level their trucks and add aftermarket wheels and tires. Like I said though, there was a gentleman on here who posted a picture of his truck he had a 2013 Ram 1500 2wd with just our 2.5" lift coils up front, stock 20" wheels and 35" tall tires. He said everything cleared without any type of modification whatsoever. We have not tested that in house so I cannot say for sure that it works but according to him it fit just fine. We just have to be conservative due to the fact that we dont know what rims people will be using, what width, what offset, what tire brand, style, height and also width all become factors. I hope this info helps! I think that if you are sticking with stock wheels then 34's would be fine all day long. Thanks again -- Sean
