Hi all. New member here. I recently bought a 2017 Ram 2500 ccsb with the 5.7. I'm interested in doing a 3" front level kit but want to stay away from spacers and do something like the Thuren 3" front springs. My question is I run a Boss 8.2 DXT v plow and was wondering if anyone has any feedback for the leveling springs and supporting a plow with them, anyone done it? Thanks

i believe thurens springs have a softer rate then stock. might want to give him a call and see what he says about that.

I would suggest prolly running the diesel lvl springs just to help offset the weight

Where are you located, how much do you run with the plow on? Around here guys only have them on 15-20 days a year and it probably wouldn't make a difference.

No experience with Thuren springs but I have a 2015 2500 crew and a 9'6" Fisher Extreme V. I ended up doing Firestone airbags because my wing tips were hitting the ground when driving around with them retracted. At 30lbs each my front end was ~3" higher when I took plow off. The problem is it rode really stiff. I dropped the bags down to around 22lbs, now she sits pretty level and rides fine when plow if off. The ride when the plow is on is MUCH better with the bags. Just another option to consider.

The truck stock holds the plow excellent as is. I want a level kit for appearance etc. for when I'm not carrying my plow but also want the springs I put in to comfortably carry my plow and not sacrifice ride quality without plow. If all that makes sense.

Might have to do a little research on that as it sounds like a feasible option.

+3 won't make it look like a squatter with a plow attached. Without maybe but most 2500s are 2.75-3" rake.

Plow with level

I have 16 2500. Added new 8' western. Haven't used yet. But then decided to add level kit for appearance and now plow doesn't sit right. Truck is too high. A frame isn't level. I still haven't used yet bc I'm running my old truck until it dies. But I'm worried when I start using it won't plow right bc a frame isn't level. Ran it by plow installer. Said he's seen worse but it's not the best. I thought I did the measuring right but apparently truck is above the 16.5" to 19" range for the mounting brackets to the ground. Might end up taking off leveling kit. It's the 2.5" rough country
