Did u do the overland package? Or just the fronts?

Just the front. Didn't want to spend the $$$ due to my son being born any week now. And didn't want the soft rear end for when I have a load back there. As it reduces squatting similar to 1500. Really happy with them so far

How's the ride quality compared to stock. I'm thinking about getting the 2.75" Thuren springs for my 2016 2500 CTD. Either that or the 4" Superlift radius arm lift kit, but can't quite decide.

Ride is a whole lot better, over bumps at medium speeds is where the gains are most noticeable. Strongly recommend the Thuren setup

I just did the 2.75" with my CTD. The ride is compared to say having like 500lbs in the bed. The truck is way smoother.

I hit some drainage dips in the road and the front just pillow it while the back you felt it.

I want to do the rear now. I am so impressed with the overland kit for the front.

I am doing another install this weekend for a friend. FRONT and REAR!

I can will let you know how it feels!

I am glad I have a garage. Was raining a bit the day I did mine.

I too had Carli coils with 5100. Man, those progressive springs with the 5100s felt like I was driving around with welded up shocks. Did good offroad, but broke my jaw driving on the street.

5100s and BFGs where the worst thing to happen to my 2008 Cummins.. haha

Awesome! I'm going to install tomorrow morning since I need to rent a torque wrench that goes to 200 for the track bar. Mine only goes to 160 lol. I'll be sure to post lots of pictures as I go!

Did the trackbar come set or did you have to measure it to add a bit for the spring?

I didn't do the trackbar on mine.

I will do that when I get my rear done however.

Good to know. I wasn't sure if I should go with progressive rate or linear rate springs. Sound like for daily driving the progressive rate is the best ride. With the Thuren 2.75 front and 1" higher rear springs, I'll
Still have a .5" rake and if I add air bags, I'll be covered when I tow anything heavy.

If anyone has the 2.75" setup
Installed on the cummins, please post. Mine is a long bed so I'd definitely like to see how that looks.

If you buy a kit, the track bar is install ready for the size kit you ordered. If you are buying just the bar, it will need to be adjusted. Comes with a note saying it's been adjusted if it has been.

I was planning on running 5100s in the rear with my stock coils. I had them in my 01 1500 and liked them a lot, was going to get Thurens all the way around, but Aaron didn't recommend due to the shocks being valved for their coil spring rate, not OEM. So I was going to get 5100s. Would you recommend? Or what would you?

Looking for advice on the Thuren stuff. Been lurking on multiple forums reading everything I can. Have asked Aaron's opinion(at Thuren) multiple times. I have a 2016 2500 Hemi mega cab 4 x 4. Just put on 18" methods and 35's with Toyo RT's. Cannot decide between the 2" kit for the front only or the 3" kit in front and 1" rear. I think once I feel the fronts I'd want the rears as well. I do tow a boat that is 5000lbs. But not often and the tongue weight should be at 500, so not too sure about sagging in the rear. Any advice appreciated.

No regrets with the 2". Only downside is softer rear suspension. I don't mind the stiffer rear. be029955b86a20279d5b2780af5acb9e.jpg

Anyone with the rear springs have a comment? Does it sag with weight in bed or towing, if so how much?

Is it the look of the truck sagging that your concerned about when towing? If so, how about doing 2" front coils with the 1" rear coils. Not sure but may not be as nose high when towing or having weight in the bed. I'm going with this set-up because I want to retain some rake. Thuren is also working on the 2.0 King kit that will be available shortly.

With just 2" coils I have 1/4" of rake. f9d03cf40f80fde4e8206a44397705a4.jpg2acbe2896c6837d2b1785f66907d1ffe.jpg

The front and rear kit is amazing. I actually was amazing on how much the truck is with a 1" coil in the rear. It comes across as a 3" lift all around. It just makes the truck appear so much taller. Even driving down the road and it's coming at you, you can tell it's been lifted rather than leveled.

As far as the ride, it's so much smoother. No bucking over bumps. The faster you go, the smoother the ride. Highway driving is where you feel it. It's like a car.

As far as towing/hauling, he hasn't done that as of yet. But a air bag set up might be the solution if you are worried about sagging. I can feel your pain, I hate seeing a truck sag.

Here are some pictures. Wish we could upload pics like before the size reduction. Photobuck is crap. Hate photobuck! haha
