Well nothing drastic as I still use it to tow, drag, snow runs, sled pull, and mud race. Dropped the rear 2" and added 2wd 5k helper bags. As I have other rigs for wheeling their was no reason for my to jack it up and it looks silly going down the track like it's got a stick up it's ****. Though I would share for others looking for different grill ideas as well as I had it two toned like the Outdoorsman just with the lower color for the grill. Only thing left to add is the HID lights.

Your truck looks well balanced with the 2" drop. I like the new paint too. The hood blackout looks real nice.

Looks good! What did you do for the rear drop? I am really considering this for mine... been looking just moving the spacers to the top of the leaf pack...

Just took out the block and added the bags to not have the sag when towing or hauling. Ride either way is still harsh. So wish it had overloads like the Fords and Chevy's. Considered running Deavers for a nicer ride but those won't help because the progress springs are under the main pack. Never really looked at if it's possible but replacing whatever leafs are removed with equal overloads on top would be the best option. Running air bags would work I just don't like relying on airbag in case of a failure or leak. Then it would overload the remaining springs and quite possibly damage parts or the frame. If you never max out or exceed the rated loads then it would be no big deal and the comfort tradeoff would be well worth it.

Thanks guys I'm really happy with how it's turned out.

Looks good. I removed my rear block on my '12 2500 4wd as well. I may look into lowering it a little more in the rear and possibly lowering the front an inch or so.

That looks really nice. I've toyed with the idea of removing the 'block' (stack) out of my 2500 as well. Then I could run 285/70s (cheap) and look might fine doing it.

I like the painted bumpers / grill / rockers.

What size are you running in the first couple pictures?

Yokohama Geolander A/T S LT285/70R17 33"x11.3"
Was looking for something 34" to drop my RPM's down while cruising as 70 mph. But this is what I settled on. Got the **** Cepek wheels at cost but even at full retail they are dirt cheap. Other problem is once most tires go over 34" they jump to 13.5" wide and simply throw dirt, rocks, and mud all over the side of your investment.

Next time around will go with LT315/70R17

That confirms my decision to go with either the 285/70s or 285/75s. :rocking: The 315/70s are nice but they will rub on stock rims.

Shouldn't. We threw 37"x12.5"s on it for a week on OE Dodge 17" wheels and they barely kissed the plastic at full crank. 34.5"x12.5" should clear all day. I'll see if I can find some pics.

I have no first had experience... But checking out posts on another forum I found several saying anything over 12 wide were rubbing control arms on stock rims at stock height... I would love to run a tire that didn't require 80psi but could still handle the weight of the truck and trailer... just cant afford to drop $1k on tires that don't fit right.

sent thru a cloud of smoke

Looks great! Love your thinking, how the **** doesn't have to be up in the air like a cat in heat. My goal was the same when doing ours.
