I never had a lifted truck but this truck needs a better look so here i am. what is the best suspension lift if i want to keep the factory 17" rims. can i fit 35's on stock rims? how about doing it myself or should i just suck it up and pay a pro?

Just got a price $6800 for a 6" procomp lift, color match fender flairs, 20" procomp wheels and 37" toyo's two day turn around? Authorized installation maintaining my warranty? Thoughts? Sounds a little pricy?

Nope. Do it. That'll look sick. The toyos are my favorite tire.
Flares plus paint = 700
37" toyos = 1600
Rims = 1000
Rf mount balance = 100
Alignment = 70
6" pro comp ? Unfamiliar with this set up for the 2500.
Install ?

But pay that lump sum once. Get a monster back in two days and they will uphold your warranty sounds great to me. The prices above are just general prices that I Had seen during my months of research for lifting mine.

Agreed with mattman, do it all at once and pay for it once rather than doing what most do and start small and keep wanting to go bigger, thus spending all their money on new lifts new tires etc instead of other modd

That's really not a bad price for having a dealer install it all.

I haven't heard any reviews for the procomp lift on 2500's, but if you can find some good reviews its a good price

update...hope i'm not making the wrong choice but after talking to as many installers and owners locally i might go with a 4" lift and run 35's. i have noticed a big price difference between 35/12.5/17 and 35/12.5/20. is there any advantage to a 20 inch wheel cause the 17 inch tires are way cheaper? Thanks!

i can tell you from experience, if theres even a slight thought in your head you might want a 6" you better get it the first time. its almost guaranteed you will regret the 4" lift and youll be looking to upgrade.

on your wheels the only difference is if you prefer the look of more tire or more wheel. 17's or 18's will be much cheaper than 20's.

kc---thanks! I pulled the trigger on a 6" Pro Comp lift...Pro Comp offers a 5 year 60k power tran warranty on select lift packages its a back up should dodge not honor the original warranty. i ordered fuel d524 wheels bushwacker flares and i found nitto terra grapplers, for $398 each out the door free shipping. this has taken hours of searching but i saved about $1800 of the original price quote for a packaged deal at a local aftermarket install shop. and the lift is being installed by the dealer. now i just have to wait on the lift kit the track bar bracket is on back order two weeks....grrrrr!!!!

325/60/20 Do you know if the front will settle down a little cause I now think I need additional 1" spacer in the rear it looks higher in the front?

I was about to say that....what did they add in the front?
Typically with Pro Comp if they add the pre load spacer, there is still a slight rake
