Fuelly.com shows a different picture over extended period of data. I have had my EVIC show 99MPG.

The best way to detiremine the consumption is over time of multipule fill ups.

I track all my mileage on fuelly. Last 10 fill ups I'm at 14.4 l/100km = just over 16mpg

Best tank was 13.2 l/100km = almost 18mpg. That was on a trip I just got back from of about 3200km

Looked at your last eight fill ups on fuelly. Was that 100% highway mileage from fill up to fill up? Good numbers regardless.

I have a 2,500 mile trip coming up so I'll be able to get a good read on mpg.

I haven't been watching the mpg in my suburban driving. I just filled up - it doesn't mean much as I only have 906 miles on the truck - so it is still breaking in. I have to say I drive like an old man - no heavy foot. I didn't buy the truck for mpg and I enjoy driving it. I can't wait to see how it tows.

Should have got the 6.7L Cummins!

2015 2500 Quad Cab 4x4, Camper shell & a lot of Security Equipment 9500lbs 6.7 Diesel & G56 6 speed. :roflsquared:

24-28 mpg on freeway, 18-22 mpg city, 66,000 miles in 19 months.

16 mpg offroading in 4x4 4L & 4H in 1st & 2nd gear for 10 hours with 11,000lbs, 3 adults+gear in mountains of Kern County California.

14-16 mpg in 4x4 4H on the Sand in San Luis Obispo and So. California Desert. :happy107:

16-18 mpg ON hard sand, Beaches of Oregon, 2wd.

Stock Tires 80Lbs cold. Firestone 275x70x18 HT, which is Highway Tread vs. AT All Terrain. KN filter & T6 Shell 100% Synthetic oil.

2nd set of Firestones at 50k take offs $160 tires+ 3rd set $400 with Rims.

Glad I got the 6.7L Diesel and Stick. G56 is the same Transmission used in the Viper.:naughty:

The NV4500 is a better transmission per the Diesel Racing "community" because of the cast iron casing vs. the G56 Aluminum Casing.

Get the 6.7L Diesel guys, the 3.0V6 Fiat diesel starts dying and giving problems at 100k and the Cummins starts performing well at that point. ONLY negative is the DEF fluid costs, that is about .2-4 cents per mile depending on your type of driving.

Seriously dude, start your own flipping off topic thread and quit posting everywhere your random thoughts that have nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Beginning to think you have Asperger's Syndrome with your nonsense.

I completely agree. The threads topic clearly says 6.4L, not 6.7L.

Those 8 fill ups were probably straight highway on my trip (didn't go in and look just yet). Did some touring around at our destination, but mainly highway.

About the third fill up, was into some really hilly highway and a wicked headwind.

Overall though, I'm extremely happy with my mileage.

Edit: Just checked my fuelly and yes, you're right. The fill ups from 10-15 August were all from my trip. If you notice I went from 13.46 l/100 km to 15.94 l/100 km that's where I hit the big hills and strong headwind lol

You ladies are funny. I am leaving to just deal with the mileage on my 6.4 MC. Totally content with what I have been getting even if my EVIC is off.

Here is how I calculated my mileage. Just got home from a 12 day vacation through Wyoming and Montana from SoCal. Got home last night. I left Big Sky Montana yesterday at 6:30am and got home at 10PM. Total is just at 1060 miles for the day. I topped off in Big Sky then put in 28 gallons in Nephi, UT and then topped off with about 17 gallons just North of Vegas and got home with about a 1/3 tank left or more. I am pretty damn happy to spend approx $120 on fuel to get home. Compare that to the cost to fly and rent a vehicle for nearly two weeks? My mileage is great, as far as I'm concerned.

I use fuelly app to track. A couple weekends ago i drove out to Rochester and back from Buffalo, cruise set to 65-66 on the I90 the entire way with a couple downshifts to accelerate. My EVIC said nearly 23mpg when i returned. Unfortunately i cannot verify my actual gas mileage because i promply went back to city driving. When i did fill up after nearly 400 miles on the tank i averaged 13.8 which is one of my highest tanks yet. If i didnt live in city/suburbs or drove on the highway without gridlocked traffic, i would probably average better.

I'll just leave this here as well........MA to NC, drove around for a week mountain biking then drove back.

141.5 gallons burned, add in 3-4% give or take for tire size and hand calc'd is pretty close to the EVIC.

I'll take it with 4 people, a bed full of gear and coolers and 4 bikes on a hitch rack.

I see plenty of complaints about the EVIC calcd mileage, but I found the one on my 95 LHS to be pretty accurate, if I followed the instructions in the owners manual, and hit reset at every fill-up, it agreed with hand calcd numbers within a couple per cent.

That has been my experience as well.

I hand calc'd pretty close when making a small adjustment for my tire size, and even without it I was only off by 0.8mpg or so.
