Anyone running these? According to Nitto's website, they are load range E & 3970 #s @ 80 psi. I'm not too worried about towing, but how about loads. Do the tires bulge a lot?

I haven't noticed my 295/65s bulging much at all with only 50 psi when I have a little over 1000# in the bed.

I had to order them from discount tire as no one within 35 miles had them in stock.

If anyone is running them, post some pics. I'm running a 3/1 lift and wanted to fill the wheel wells a little more than the 295s did. We'll see.

I'm running 35's. Best tires I have owned. I've gotten 50k out of first 2 sets and currently on my third. I tow quite often, up to 40k a year and no bulge or extra wear because of....

Oklahoma temps vary from upper 90's to to mid teens but averages 70's to 40's. As far as environment, all paved roads with in and out on construction sites. The durability has been great along with ride quality noise level. Expensive tire but worth it imho....

Have 35x12.5x18 Toyos with E range. Rears set at 45lbs, and had about 2300 lbs in the back the other week (56 boxes of 7ft long laminate, 42lbs each) and noticed no bulging. I was especially paying attention since I actually meant to air up a bit just for sanity. Did not need to.. I do have the rear oem air, not sure if that helped or not

Thanks for the replys.

I ended up with 37x12.50s as the 11.50s were going to take over a week to get here and they made me a good deal on the 37s they had in stock! I've loved my Trail Grapplers. But these wheel wells are sooooo damn big, 35" tires look small from a distance with any kind of lift or level - big truck problems :happy107:

Not unheard of.. actually know a TON of people who've got 60K out of them on 2500's CTDs..

That is why Toyo is the best tire for these trucks.

My Nitto's were about done at 25K - Toyo.. doubled at 55psi in Arizona and i USE my truck offroad.

Here's a few pics of my 295/65s vs 37s. I had them put on last week. In the pics with the 37s, I had 1 yard of topsoil loaded in the back along with pick axe, pick mattock, several shovels, 5# hammer, 2 kids and soccer gear in the cab. I'm getting slight rub on the fender liner at full lock. Nothing a heat gun won't fix. It's very minor. My wheels are 20x10 with 0 offset. Wish I'd gone with the +13 offset. I'd probably clear the fender liners.

At 55 psi there wasn't any noticeable tire bulge. Tells me need to lower to 50 front & 45 rear unloaded. In the loaded pic with 295s, I was also at 55 psi.

Lookin' good. How many miles did you get off your first set of Trail Grapplers?

only had a hair under 20K on them and still well over 50% tread left. These 37s are a good deal wider than the 295s. Looks like fender flares are in my future :naughty:
