Hooked up the new boat trailer to my 4-pin connector and only the brake lights and turn signals work, no tailights or running lights. Anyone know which fuse # to check? I tried F29 (listed as trailer running lights in manual), but it looked perfectly fine.

Could this be a bigger issue than just a fuse? My 7-pin trailer connection works fine.

It's not a fuse. The wiring on the trailer is the culprit and some need to be revised to match up to the Ram wiring scheme.

On a 4 pin it should be correct..... if it's not the the trailer wasn't wired right to begin with.... on a 7 plug it could be the plugs arnt wired the same. You said yours work on the 7 but not the 4.. check the wires going into your 4 plug on the trailer make sure the wire isn't broke off at the plug.

I re-read your post... the brake lights and turns use the same wire to work so if on is working and the other is not then it's gotta be on the truck... check all your trailer light fuses.... if you have a volt/multi meter than use it to check for power at the plug.

When we hooked up the trailer today to come home the same issue (brake and turns worked, no running lights) and this was the 7-pin connector (which has worked fine two days prior for trip up to camp). Seems like it has to be a fuse. I'll may run to dealer to get it checked tomorrow.

Well my neighbor had a fuse tester and yep it was a bad F29. Gotta grab some tomorrow and hopefully good to go.

Ok picked up wrong size cartridge fuse. Silly me didn't take it with me. Only size I could find at both Pepboys and Advanced Auto was the larger 20 amp in the package. Anybody know where to get the smaller ones in the photo?

Did you ever figure out what popped the fuse in the first place?

Also curious about this. I have a 2015 Limited and the first time I blew a fuse for the left turn signal. Replaced fuse and just yesterday realized I have no running lights. It's a 2013 trailer and I'm the only owner so the wiring has never been messed with.

Not 100% sure but I believe it was my new boat trailer. Didn't have any issues prior to1st hookup with that trailer. The trailer/boat is in storage at the lake so won't be able to check for a few more weeks.

I finally found some fuses for the parking lights. They are Bussmann FMM-20 amp time delay fuses. Really expensive (between $4 to $8 depending where you look). Hope these don't keep blowing.
