From the bump stop cup lip to the rear axle strike face is about 8 inches. Metal to metal, ignoring the rubber bumper.

Where did you go High Speed? I was hoping you'd post pictures of your 3" factory lift. If what you're saying is correct, Ram is now shipping trucks that will fit 38" tires without any changes to the suspension.

This is the rear bumpstop measurement from a stock Power Wagon.

No need to be an ass. I never said Ram had a 3 inch factory lift from the factory, nor would 38" tires fit without suspension mods. I did say my 4x4 off road package truck is 2 inches taller than my stock 4x4 2015 Cummins was, and that's still true, and verified I might add...

So, I went to Dennis Dillion Ram in Caldwell Idaho today where I bought the truck and talked with one of their aftermarket parts specialists. He was very interested and helpful and said the 4x4 package adds 2 inches to the height of the truck. I asked him why and how, and we spent about a half hour going through the parts lists of a stock 4x4 truck and 4x4 off road package truck. Both 6.4l gas, crew cab etc. His theory was the coils were a different part number, but that was not right. All the front suspension parts are the same part number as a stock truck except the shocks. At that point he started to have doubts and so he went outside and got a 6.4L CC stock 4x4 and a 6.4L 4x4 off road package and parked them next to each other and yes, the 4x4 off road package measures 2 inches taller all around front and rear.

But after another half hour of looking at both trucks side by side neither of us know why... The 4x4 off road package trucks are absolutely and definitely 2 inches taller than the same trucks without the package.

They didn't have a Power Wagon in stock or we would have measured that too. The Power Wagon may or may not be taller, but not by much.

That's the FACTS as I know them right now. Easily verified by a trip to any dealer with a tape measure. :)

And here's a pic of my truck just like your pic. Damned if I know why it's that way though. And neither does the aftermarket parts guy at Dennis Dillion either.

I thought you said 8"? How come every detail you've posted in this thread has changed? Cut the crap, post pictures of the suspension components; ie manufacturer's tags and axle end track bar brackets. Something doesn't add up. I've looked at the 4x4 package trucks and they were the same height as the regular trucks sitting next to them. The picture I posted is of a PW +2" spring height, I can post pictures of all of the suspension components if you'd like, include more measurements.

Why is it so important to you? Like I said, no need to get all lathered up about it. Or be rude. So kill the attitude.

All the suspension component parts (front end at least, and I would assume the rear is no different) spec out as the same between a stock truck and one with the 4x4 Off Road Package. I said that. No need for any pictures. It may just come down to the tires...

The bare bones tradesman is the only 2500 with the 245 tires, all other 2500s come with atleast the 275s, which are 3" taller
