Depends on back spacing/offset. You can fit a 37/12.5 with the right wheels.

Yep. It seems everyone and there brother is running 35's with only a leveling kit. I've seen a few running 37's so I'm sure you can fit 36's. But a lot depends on wheel width and backspacing/offset. Also, how wide are the 36's you want?

Factory wheels will be your best bet. But if they're the 20" snowflake looking wheel, they're narrower than most plan on. Anything over a 12.5" tire is gonna be pretty pinched on it.

Not sure on the width of the 18's... Can't be any worse than the 20's. And you're in luck, they make a 37/12.5/18 in the trail grapps

Could be doable, mine are 34.8" on aftermarket rims with no levelling kit. Have never really flexxed er out and maxxed the steering to one way, but those stupid plastic inner wheel wells have a bulge near the back the tires can rub on slightly.

mtu', if you could post a pic of your truck from the side I'd like to see your truck/wheel/tire combo and how they look. Thanks

Ok I lied, got on photobucket and uploaded some old pics just now. This will help others when they search for either larger tires be it 35s and above. Trying to show how close they come to some of the fender inner wheel wells.

Straight on shot

Front of inner wheel well no issues, turned to full lock (not 100% if you had pressure on steering wheel).

Looking at front tire rear part of inner wheel well. Actually less chance of rubbing at full lock vs partial due to that stupid bulged out section. Could be more of an issue with wider tires I imagine as well.

More of a head on shot looking at tire turned to full lock without steering wheel pressure.
