Long story, but due to events I sold my 2014 ram 2500 CTD and bought a 2015 F250 6.2 middle of last year. Part of my justification was I only tow a 8000 pound travel trailer and didn't need the CTD. Also, the F250 was a Lariat and had a lot of "creature comforts."
15000 miles and a little over a year later, I finally had enough and decided that a cracked leaf spring, grinding transfer case, rattling doors, and an unfixable "death wobble" while driving was enough!!! I dumped the ford and am back in the Ram Game.
Purchased a new 2016 Ram 3500 Tradesman CC SB 4X4 CTD. Has:
Chrome Package
Cold Weather Group
Popular Equiment Group
Electronic 4x4
UConnect 5.0
Rear View Camera and Parking Sensors
Trailer Brake Control
Very happy with this purchase...Amazing how a truck with a 4400 pound payload capacity can ride so much nicer that that F250 and so much quieter. Maybe I got a lemon, but as long as I live and can control it, I will NEVER own another Ford Pickup.
I feel like I have really wasted a lot of money on vehicle upgrades over the years, so I am going to keep this one pretty tame. Going to add a bedliner, nerf bars, and LT275/70/18 Michelin Defender LTX's.
PS..White spot on the bed rail is bird poop
