Thanks for all the replies. I haven't decided on what tire to buy, but in the past Toyo's were garabage on an impala and Goodyears are never a good choice. Everyone I know has great luck with BFG tires and long life. Although it worries me about the replies above. I had 15,000 miles on the Ram 1500 set and they were still like new. I do know a person with Duratracs on a 250 diesel but they are new and he doesn't use it much.... I like hearing all the responses about tires. I may break down and buy Michelins since they have a 60k mile warranty. Not very aggressive though.

I've heard from several people that the old BFG KO's wore very well. Seems like a lot of people confuse the KO's with the KO2's.

I have had both and so far the KO2 is wearing well. It might actually vary a little by size as some sizes used to use a different process to manufacture the tire than others.

Anyone have any experience with the General Grabber X3's? I see 295/65/20 Load E in their lineup. Looks like an option for me. My Grabber AT2s on my Tundra have been fantastic.......

I was just at a tire store swapping over studded winters on our 4th vehicle (Rav4) and was literally kicking the tires on the Toyo AT2s.......looked decent but about 80% as aggressive as I would like.

Lots of Mastercraft stuff there.....

My Dad had Mastercraft Cursors on his truck many years ago and they were awesome.

Most people I know have had the KO tires & they were good. My KO2 on the 1500 were great, which is why I'd like them on my 3500. Wear was much better than I expected and rain/ snow were fantastic! I may go to the 275/75/R20 since they are closer to stock size. FYI tire rack is unsure the 295/65 would fit on a stock 3500 without clearance issues.

i have the bfg ko2 on my 2500. they wont make it to 15,000 miles at the rate they are wearing. aside from that i love the tire. from what i have read the 2500/3500 are too heavy for this tire and thats why they wear out so fast. will try the toyos next. a buddy with 40 trucks ( plows and landscape business ) recommended them. cheers comrades!
