Looking at getting a used 2500. Found the sheet. It is a 2016 2500 4X4 Laramie with 6.7L I6 Cummins Turbo Diesel Engine w/68RFE. Has pretty much everything I am looking for but it does not come with limited slip diffs. nor clearance lights. The asking price is at 49k. What do ya'll think.

Miles?

Dennis Dillon in Idaho has new Laramies for around 50K. They are a great place to buy or just use for comparison/negotiation. I think there might even be some lower optioned ones for under 50K. Use the "sale price" on their website. The "as low as" price is only if you belong to a bunch of associations that you probably don't.

The miles are at 5400. I will be going to the dealer today to see how it runs. I road in a 3500 SLT last month and didn't care for how harsh the ride was.

What Mtofell said-
Check out Dennis Dillion-
- why buy a used one for the price of a new one?
-New has better Financing apr-
You know it hasn't been abused-
Why did they trade it in?
My biggest fear would be it had issues the dealer could not address and the original owner said Fck it - and traded it in.

Buying new would be preferred. Mew trucks go for over 55k here and going to Idaho is out of the question right now.

May be worth the 200$ plain ticket and the $x Amount in fuel- May be worth doing the math on it.

Other that that - That is what used diesels go for- hard to see why people buy them used when new is the same price. Maybe 1 trim lvl lower so no leather and no moon roof.
