I have a 3500 with the chrome clad wheels and the Transforce HT tires that are almost gone.

I've seen take-off (i.e. guy buys a truck and immediately upgrades wheels and tires, originals are sold as "take-offs" with little to no miles on them) being listed on eBay for the upgraded 18" aluminum wheels with the Firestone Destination ATs. They come with TPMS and came off of a 2500.

1.) Can I use the tire pressure monitors on my 3500 that came off a 2500?

2.) Can I program the TPMS from the new take-off wheels to the truck myself?

They will work- I don't know if you need to program- I imagine they will sync up automatically but I could be wrong.

I think all you do is drive a few miles and they relearn, same as if you rotated tires, check the owners manual it might say.

^^^^ This again ^^^^

They will work just fine. It just takes a little driving for the truck's TPMS transceiver to "learn" there are new sensors in place.

They will work if they are the same year or very close. They change the frequency every so often. I do not know the exact years. Found out the hard way.
